ANSWER:

The Montgomery Virtual Academy enrollment and attendance information for the 2021–2022 school year, and the projected enrollment for 2022–2023 school year follows:

School Year 2021–2022 Enrollment and Attendance:  

  • Grades K–5: Of the 1,315 students currently enrolled, 1,267 students, or 96 percent, regularly have been attending since August/September 2021.
  • Grades 6–8: Of the 609 students currently enrolled, 593 students, or 97 percent, regularly have been attending since August/September 2021.
  • Grades 9–12: Of the 682 students currently enrolled, 665 students, or 98 percent, regularly have been attending since August/September 2021.

School Year 2022–2023 Enrollment: We currently are collecting information on families’ intentions to continue in the Virtual Academy or return to in-person learning for next school year.  The date collection is ongoing. Of those responding thus far, 760 students have confirmed that they will continue to attend the Virtual Academy next school year and 64 have indicated they will return to in-person learning.
