Fiscal Year 2024 → Question 1
ANSWER:
The Office of Well-Being, Learning, and Achievement (OWBLA) is in complete agreement with Mr. Kim that the available mental health and wellness services in schools have to be communicated broadly and consistently in order to maximize the opportunity for students to recognize where to go for help when they, or a friend, or family members need it. OWBLA staff will connect with the new student advisory board for suggestions on how to best communicate the available services to students in schools. OWBLA also will investigate exemplars, such as the one noted in the written statement from Mr. Kim at the operating budget public hearing held January 11, 2023.
