Following up on comments from last year’s budget work sessions, we included more details in the slides used for the three FY 2025 Recommended Operating Budget work sessions last month. The slides for the realignments, rate changes, and accelerators this year provided more detail than last year. If they were to account for every dollar, then the slides would double in length. Every dollar of the changes for each of the 11 chapters of the budget is found in detail in the “Overview of Budget Changes” section found in every chapter. In the future, instead of capturing the most significant components of the five objects of expenditure for the first chart with the pie display, we will do our best to capture more of the components of each of the objects of expenditure but are limited to the size allowed on that page.
