Dear MCPS Community,
How are we doing? We want to know and we are listening, because real improvement comes from what we learn from you.
We have revamped what we call the School Climate Survey to effect change for students, staff and families.
Think of it as a snapshot of MCPS’ overall school environment – everything from safety and relationships to teaching and learning. By understanding what is working well and where we can improve, we can create an even more supportive and engaging place for all our students.
Your unique perspective, whether you are a parent, guardian or a valued member of our community, provides insight crucial to this process.
This is not a typical lengthy survey. We've made it:
Shorter: With fewer questions to save you time.
Insightful: Includes open-ended questions for more detailed feedback.
Action-Oriented: We will conduct it twice a year to track progress and implement real change, with initial results guiding improvements starting this summer.
It is important that everyone participates. If we do not hear from you, the picture we get won’t be complete, and neither will our solutions.
School climate is not just about how things are — it’s about how we make them better, together.
To complete the survey, you will need your student's ID which ensures responses are associated with their school. You can find the student ID number in ParentVue.
