An Examination of March SAT Taken by MCPS Juniors in 2015 and 2016

Description:

This research brief examined the participation and performance of March 2016 redesigned SAT taken by MCPS juniors because March SAT was the first administration of the new SAT. Compared to the results of March 2015 SAT, a declining trend was exhibited for the participation and performance of March 2016 SAT. Further investigation by propensity score matching indicated that the decline in SAT performance was not statistically significant.
