A Grand Day at Lakewood Elementary

For the fifth consecutive year, Lakewood Elementary School welcomed grandparents and grandfriends for a special day filled with love, connection and joy! Students had the opportunity to share meaningful moments with the special people in their lives, creating memories that will last for years to come.
Principal Ebony-Nicole Kelly said, "There is something incredibly special about seeing my scholars surrounded by their grandparents and grandfriends—and knowing that we get to be a small part of creating these beautiful memories for them and their families. There’s something so beautiful about bringing generations together, celebrating love, and creating moments they’ll cherish for years to come."
