MCPS Is Hiring Bus Operators

Know someone interested in working for MCPS? The school district is hiring bus operators! Don’t miss the Division of Transportation Services’ job fair from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6, at the Shady Grove Transportation Depot, 16651 Crabbs Branch Way in Rockville. Before attending the event, interested candidates are asked to update or create an online profile on the MCPS Careers website.
To become a bus driver, the minimum qualifications are:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- At least 21 years old.
- A clean driving history; no more than one point on driver’s license.
- At least three years of driving experience, with at least one year driving in the U.S.
- The ability to meet all background checks, pre-service training and testing requirements.
