Description:
This outcome evaluation investigated the academic performance of Grade 10 students who took the English 10: AP Seminar course as their English 10 course in 2023–2024 compared to their peers taking the English 10 course across six pilot high schools. This study analyzed student outcomes on the AP Seminar exam and the Grade 10 Maryland Comprehensive Assessment Program English Language Arts/Literacy (MCAP ELA/L) assessment. The results were also disaggregated by student group to understand the access in the course enrollment.
