Viers Mill Elementary School will host a Linkages to the Library kick-off event to focus attention on summer programs that help families and students connect with their local public libraries. The kick-off will take place at Viers Mill Elementary School on Tuesday, June 17, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

More than 80 students and their families are expected to attend to hear presentations from library administrators and staff about the opportunities available. Families, local officials, and representatives of Comcast, corporate sponsor of the event, will enjoy a cook-out in the school’s courtyard following the formal presentation.
