The original list of schools without electrical power has been reduced to 16 schools -- with the addition of one new school (Somerset Elementary) -- that may remain closed for Tuesday, September 23, as a result of continuing power outages. All other Montgomery County Public Schools (175) will open on time Tuesday. The list will be updated again Tuesday morning by 5:30 a.m.

Student and community activities in closed schools are canceled. Private day care operations in closed schools are canceled.
