Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) will host the closing ceremony for Summer RISE 2024 participants on Thursday, July 25. 

The Summer RISE program provides rising juniors and seniors with hands-on, career-based learning experiences and helps employers cultivate a talent pipeline. The program is led by the Department of Partnership works thanks to the collaboration of local businesses, government agencies, higher education institutions, and nonprofit organizations. 

This year more than 1,000 students participated in the program and will be recognized in the event.

WHAT: Career fair for students who participated in the Summer RISE program. Participants will be able to network with local businesses and organizations and hear from a panel of successful professionals. 

WHERE: Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, 5701 Marinelli Rd, Rockville, MD 20852.  

WHEN: Thursday, July 25. 2024  ( From 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM )

• Cynthia Cifuentes, VP of  Brand, Communications & Community Engagement, Kaiser Permanente Mid-Atlantic Region
