The delegation of Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) students, parents and staff members that participated in a pickleball exchange trip to China will be guests at the Embassy of the People's Republic of China, located at 3505 International Place, NW Washington, D.C. 20008, on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Chinese Ambassador to the United States, Xie Feng, will welcome the delegation, as the Pickleball Ambassadors and guests will experience Chinese cultural activities. Pickleball Diplomacy and the impact of the delegation’s travel has garnered attention across China and abroad, following the receipt of a formal response from Chinese President Xi Jinping to a letter of gratitude from the delegation.
