Support for the school system's operating budget is urged at all of the public hearings scheduled by the Montgomery County Council. Three important hearings are scheduled when major groups are testifying on:

* Monday, April 3, 7:30 p.m. -- MCCPTA testifies

* Wednesday, April 5, 7:30 p.m. -- MCEA testifies

* Thursday, April 6, 7:30 p.m. -- the Board of Education testifies, along with representatives from MCCSSE, MCAASP, ESAA and SSAA

Other staff, parent, community, and business leaders are also testifying on these nights and an additional hearing scheduled on Tuesday, April 4.

All of hearings will be held in the auditorium of the County Council Office Building located at 100 Maryland Avenue in Rockville. A public parking garage is located conveniently next door.
