Media Advisory: Superintendent Starr to Hold Community Day Event on Jan. 28

Superintendent of Schools Joshua P. Starr will hold his fourth Community Day event of the school year on Monday, January 28, 2013, in the Churchill, Richard Montgomery, Poolesville, Rockville and Wootton clusters.

Dr. Starr will spend the day meeting with staff, visiting schools and hearing from parents. The Community Day will culminate with a Town Hall meeting at Richard Montgomery High School, 250 Richard Montgomery Drive in Rockville, from 7:30 to 9 p.m., where the public can ask questions and share thoughts and ideas.

Members of the media are invited to join Dr. Starr on his visit to Beverly Farms Elementary School, 8501 Postoak Road in Potomac, from 9:55-10:55 a.m., and at the Town Hall meeting at Richard Montgomery High School.
