With County public schools back in session next week, Montgomery County Officials join together to emphasize critical back-to-school traffic and pedestrian safety information.

Speakers include: Board of Education President Michael Durso, Superintendent of Schools Jack Smith, Ph.D., County Councilmember Craig Rice, Director of MCPD Traffic Division Captain Tom Didone, Director of MCPS Department of Transportation Todd Watkins and MCPS school bus driver Jennifer Velasquez.

Details will also be announced about the expansion of the school bus camera enforcement program, which will provide additional safety features that were not available in the past.

Photo Op: A school bus newly equipped with enforcement and additional camera and electronic safety features will be available on-site.
