The Montgomery County Board of Education will adopt a Fiscal Year (FY) 2018 Operating Budget request tomorrow, Feb. 14, during its regular business meeting. The Board will hold a media briefing on Feb. 14 at 1:40 p.m. to discuss the adopted budget request and answer questions.

Superintendent Jack Smith presented his recommended budget to the Board of Education in December for consideration. In January, the Board conducted public work sessions to review the recommendation and held two public hearings for the public to testify about the budget.
