The following principal and administrative appointments were approved today [Tuesday, June 12] by the Board of Education:

* Dan Bennett, currently principal of Bel Air Elementary School in Prince William County Public Schools, Virginia, as principal of Bradley Hills Elementary School.

* Doreen A. Brandes, currently principal of John Hanson Middle School in Charles County Public Schools, Maryland, as principal of Sligo Middle School.

* Peter J. Cahall, currently principal of Kiser Middle School in Greensboro, North Carolina, as principal of Rocky Hill Middle School.

* Donna S. Hollingshead, currently performance director, Office of School Performance, as principal of Cabin John Middle School.

* Rodney A. Isabell, currently assistant principal of Parkland Middle School, as principal of Argyle Middle School.

* Linda F. King, currently principal intern at Cedar Grove Elementary School, as principal of Goshen Elementary School.

* Cabell W. Lloyd, currently principal of Lake Anne Elementary School in Fairfax County Public Schools, Virginia, as principal of Meadow Hall Elementary School.

* Eileen B. Lorenz, currently principal intern at Travilah Elementary School, as principal of the school.

* Kenneth L. Marcus, currently principal intern at Waters Landing Elementary School, as principal of Mill Creek Towne Elementary School.
