A community forum has been scheduled for April 11, 2002, for parent and community comment on the multiyear special education staffing plan being developed for Fiscal Years 2003-06. The forum will be held at the auditorium of the Carver Educational Services Center in Rockville, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The school system's proposed special education staffing plan is available online at the link below. Individuals can also request a copy by calling 301-279-3135.

Individuals planning to provide comments should register in advance by calling 301-279-3135. Each speaker will have three minutes for comments. A written summary at the time of the oral presentations is requested.

Individuals who wish to send written comments should mail them to Ms. Debra Berner, Department of Special Education, 850 Hungerford Drive, Room 208, Rockville, Maryland, 20850. Statements can also be e-mailed to Debra_Berner@fc.mcps.k12.md.us.
