Individuals who would like to enroll their children in the Head Start preschool program for this coming fall are encouraged to do so during the summer months.

Head Start in Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) provides a comprehensive family program including preschool education, health and social services, and parent involvement for low-income families, including children with disabilities.

In order to register for the fall semester, eligible children must be four years old by December 31, 1999. In addition, for parents receiving Working Parents Assistance (WPA) or Purchase of Care (POC), there are limited openings in the Head Start full day/full year program.
