Viewpoint: Revised Math Curriculum, a live call-in television program, will air on Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Cable Channel 34 on Monday, March 3, from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Community members are invited to call with their questions at 301-279-3234 or send an email to viewpoint@mcps.tv during the program.

The program will include a panel discussion with MCPS staff members, comments from external curriculum experts on the mathematics curriculum, and an opportunity for parents and community to ask questions.

Topics are expected to include:

· Description of the new standards-based math curriculum.
· Context and reasons for the revisions.
· Frequently asked questions from parents and staff.
