The community forum to review and comment on the strategic plan being developed for the Montgomery County Public Schools has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 2, 2003, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Carver Educational Services Center in Rockville.

The draft plan also is available on the web as a PDF file at the link below, and a unique electronic feedback form (see second link below) provides an opportunity for submitting comments via the Internet.

The development of a multi-year strategic plan -- entitled Call to Action: Pursuit of Excellence -- builds on the planning and reform initiatives of the past three years to address the academic priorities of the Board of Education and meets federal and state requirements for achieving standards-based reform in student achievement and personnel quality.
