The Montgomery County Board of Education will hold several public hearings on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 Capital Budget, Amendments to the FY 2021-2026 Capital Improvements Program (CIP), and Somerset and Westbrook Boundary Study in November. All public hearings will be held virtually. Testimony will be accepted in written or pre-recorded video/audio formats.
Montgomery County Public Schools Superintendent Jack R. Smith is scheduled to release his recommended FY 2022 Capital Budget, Amendments to the FY 2021-2026 CIP and Somerset and Westbrook Boundary Study on October 26, 2020.
The public hearings will be conducted according to the following schedule:

The Board of Education will hold work sessions on the CIP at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 26, and at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29. The adoption of the proposed CIP is tentatively scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19.
