Students from nine elementary schools will participate in the Elementary School Inquiry Conference on Friday, May 23, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Audubon Naturalist Society, 8940 Jones Mill Road in Chevy Chase. The event is sponsored by Montgomery County Public Schools and funded by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. The student scientists will present their scientific research for peer review.

Participating schools include Beall, Broad Acres, Capt. James. E. Daly, Germantown, Kemp Mill, Piney Branch, Judith A. Resnik, Rock View, and Sligo Creek elementary schools.
