The American Recovery Plan Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ARP ESSER) is available to assist school districts and state educational agencies to reopen and sustain the safe operation of schools.

ARP ESSER funds will address the  impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on schools. These critical federal funds provide an opportunity to make investments that support teaching and learning, school operations and wraparound supports for students and staff.

MCPS is seeking community feedback on the use of these financial resources. Survey responses are due by Monday, August 16.

MCPS will utilize this survey and other outreach methods to collect opinions and input for the targeted use of these critical financial resources.
