All school facilities in the Montgomery County Public Schools are to be open for community use today, Sunday, December 14. However, parking lots and sidewalks at the school facilities may not be plowed or accessible yet because of accumulated snow.

Snow removal crews will be working to clear the snow today and also to prepare for classes to resume on Monday. A decision about school operations on Monday will be made by early Monday morning.

The decision to open the facilities on Sunday was made by the Interagency Coordinating Board (ICB), which oversees the weekend community use of public facilities in Montgomery County.
