College Goal Sunday Scheduled for February 8

January 13, 2004
The Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, Inc. (ASFAA) will host the third annual College Goal Sunday on Sunday, February 8, 2004, at Wheaton High School beginning at 2 p.m. The event at Wheaton High School is open to all area students and is one of twelve similar events being held throughout Maryland.

College Goal Sunday invites college bound students to a location near them to receive free professional assistance to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Colleges, universities, and private career schools require the FAFSA form to qualify for scholarships, grants, and loans.

Students and families attending College Goal Sunday need to bring proof of 2003 income and benefits information, such as completed IRS federal income tax returns and W-2 Forms, or proof of untaxed income, for the student and the parent(s).
