Schools and offices of the Montgomery County Public Schools will open 2 hours late today, Tuesday, January 27, for administrative employees and teachers and remain closed for students.

All inservice training activities for transportation, cafeteria, and security staff are canceled, and those employees should not report to work. Report card preparation and planning for teachers and principals will proceed as newly scheduled for today.

Private day care operations in schools may open at the same time (2 hours late) as school administrative offices.

Public school transportation for special education students in private school placements is canceled.

(Classes for students were already canceled today because of a scheduled professional day for teachers.)
