Montgomery Village Middle School has received a $25,000 grant from the Maryland State Department of Education. The grant will allow the school to implement the National Alliance for Pre-Engineering Programs.
Montgomery Village will be the only middle school in Montgomery County to offer the Project Lead the Way Middle School Gateway to Technology curriculum, a full-year pre-engineering elective for eighth grade students. The activity-oriented course work will incorporate four units: Design and Modeling, The Magic of Electrons, The Science of Technology, and Automation and Robotics.
