MEDIA ADVISORY: United States Mint American Women Quarters™ Program Dr. Sally Ride Quarter Event

WHAT:  The United States Mint (Mint) will officially host representatives from the Mint Headquarters, Dr. Sally K. Ride Elementary School, Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), National Women’s History Museum (NWHM), Smithsonian, Out Astronaut Project, and Sally Ride Science in an event to celebrate the release of the Dr. Sally Ride Quarter on Thursday, April 21, at 10 a.m. EST. The ceremony will take place at the Dr. Sally K. Ride Elementary School.

The ceremony will take place in the school’s media center. It will be livestreamed to all classrooms. One class will attend the ceremony in the media center.
