Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) will celebrate the new Harriet R. Tubman Elementary School with a ribbon-cutting event on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Monifa B. McKnight and Montgomery County Board of Education President Brenda Wolff will join other local officials at the event.

WHAT:   Ribbon Cutting outside, near the entrance to the school (no interior tour)

WHEN:  Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at 5:00 p.m.

WHERE: Harriet R. Tubman Elementary School, 400 Victory Farm Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20877

WHO: Among those expected to attend and give remarks are:
