Report Highlights Academic & Org. Trends Since 1999

July 12, 2004
Dr. Jerry D. Weast, superintendent of schools, has provided a new report to the Board of Education that highlights the major organizational and academic performance trends of the Montgomery County Public Schools from 1999 through 2004.

“The comprehensive report offers extensive data on the continued advancements of our school system, not only the academic achievements but also the improvements within the organization that will provide the necessary long-lasting support for continued performance gains,” he said.

“As a summary document, the report actually understates the extent to which progress has taken place over the past five years,” Dr. Weast said. “However, the identification of important organizational and achievement trends underscores the extensive opportunities for even more advancement in the future.”

The report is available as a PDF file at the link below.
