Student Volunteers Sought for Tutoring Program

The Montgomery County Public Schools After-School Tutoring Program (MCPS ASTP) is seeking high school students to volunteer in selected elementary schools as assistants to MCPS teacher tutors.

The program begins on November 4 and will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. Volunteers may choose to work one or two hours per session. Student Service Learning credits are available for this volunteer work. The school sites are Harmony Hills, Highland, Weller Road, Wheaton Woods, Gaithersburg, and Rosemont elementary schools.
