Maryland Lieutenant Governor Michael Steele is scheduled to visit Seven Locks Elementary School on Thursday, March 24, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The visit is under the auspices of the Governor's Commission on Quality Education.
Lieutenant Governor Steele's visit will include a meeting with the principal, a tour of the school, a conversation with students, and a meeting with Seven Locks' School Improvement Team. Among the expected topics for discussion during the lieutenant governor's visit are best practices in education, school-community links, accountability, and school readiness.
