Members of the Richard Montgomery High School Mock Trial Team, coached by Daniel Evans, has won the regional mock trial competition held on April 18, defeating Saints Peter and Paul High School in Easton, Maryland. The team now takes its undefeated record to the State Final Four in Annapolis on April 28 and 29 to present its case before a judge who sits on the Court of Appeals, the state's highest court.

Richard Montgomery's Mock Trial Team has had a remarkable record, winning 12 of the last 14 county mock trial championships and losing only two regular season matches in the last 14 years.
