Recognition of the Asian American Education Association Scholarship Recipients
The Board recognized the two recipients of this year’s Asian American Education Association scholarship awards. The winners of a $1,000 scholarship each are Ran Cho and Huang Xuan Ho. Each student has expressed a commitment to becoming an educator.
Settlement Agreement on Health Education Curriculum
The Board approved a settlement agreement that resolves a federal lawsuit over revisions to the health education curriculum and achieved the Board's goal of ending the dispute on mutually agreeable terms without compromising its authority over curriculum content.
