“I want to thank the Montgomery County Council for approving a Fiscal Year 2014 operating budget that will allow Montgomery County Public Schools to manage its continued growth, prepare our staff and students for the future, and re-energize our efforts to narrow the achievement gap. The Board of Education looks forward to working with our Council colleagues in the future to ensure that all Montgomery County students receive an education that provides them with the knowledge and skills they need for success in college and the work place.”
