Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) will hold its third annual State of the Schools event—Building Our Future Together—TOMORROW, Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at the Music Center at Strathmore. The event, which begins at 7:30 a.m., is an opportunity for business, non-profit, educational and community leaders to hear Superintendent Joshua P. Starr’s vision for MCPS. The event will also highlight the outstanding achievement and talents of MCPS students.
The event begins with a light breakfast and the opportunity to view student performances and artwork throughout the Music Center. Dr. Starr will deliver his address in the Concert Hall at 8:30 a.m. The State of the Schools event is free and open to the public and is expected to conclude by 9:30 a.m.
