22 Corporations and Other Organizations Individually Donate Up to $5,000 Each Toward Event for Retiring Superintendent

Twenty-two business corporations and organizations have donated between $1,500 and $5,000 each toward the gala community event designed as a "Farewell Tribute to Paul L. Vance" being held at the Indian Spring Country Club on the evening of May 20, 1999.

General tickets to the $100-seat dinner are being reserved now for an event that also serves as a fund raiser for a perpetual scholarship program. Half of each ticket price is being reserved for the college scholarship fund named in Dr. Vance's honor.

Major sponsors of the gala include, alphabetically, the Abrams Family Foundation; Bell Atlantic; James Cafritz Incorporated; Calvert Group; Cellular One; Dial-A-Mattress; Dustin Construction; Fitzgerald Auto Malls; Gallan, Kharasch, Greenburg, Gellman & Swirsky, P.C.; Gazette Newspapers; and GEICO.
