Registration for Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Prekindergarten and Head Start classes for the 2016-2017 school year will begin on Monday, March 14.

MCPS offers Prekindergarten and Head Start for income-eligible children who will be four years old by September 1, 2016, for the 2016-2017 school year. These programs provide comprehensive services including preschool education, health and social services, and parent engagement for low-income families, including children with disabilities. There are a limited number of openings for Head Start eligible children who will be 3 years old by September 1, 2016.

Walk-in applications will be accepted Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Rocking Horse Road Center, 4910 Macon Road in Rockville. Parents also can register their children at other community locations.
