Two telephone hotlines are available to the school community and the general public to report safety and/or security concerns related to weapons, drugs, alcohol, violence, or any suspicious activity in and around schools. The hotlines also protect the confidentiality of the callers.

The two hotlines are:

1. MCPS Safe Schools 24-hour Hotline at 301-517-5995

2. Maryland Safe Schools Tip Hotline at 1-877-636-6332

Both of these services are staffed 24 hours a day/seven days a week to receive anonymous information about school safety and security.
