Youth-focused service providers in the upcounty area of Montgomery County will meet at an all-day conference to discuss ways to use the combined power of school and county agencies and institutions to support students and families. The conference will take place on Thursday, August 30, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., at the activity center at Bohrer Park in Gaithersburg.

Sessions will cover topics such as early childhood services, medical programs, ESOL programs, and student services provided by Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS).

The conference is a partnership of MCPS, the City of Gaithersburg, Montgomery County Office of Health and Human Services and Upcounty Regional Services Center, Montgomery College, Gaithersburg/ Germantown Chamber of Commerce, Upcounty Latino Network, and Montgomery County Department of Police.
