Churchill High School Celebrates Building Rededication

After completion of a two- and one-half year modernization, the Winston Churchill High School community will celebrate the rededication of the school facilities on Sunday, April 21, 2002. The event will begin in the auditorium at 2:00 p.m.

The program will include musical performances by the school band and the cast from the Churchill production of "Blast From the Past, United We Rock." Other highlights include the formal dedication of the Dr. Gertrude G. Bish Auditorium. Dr. Bish was the first principal of Churchill High School (1964) and was the first woman high school principal in Montgomery County.

An Open House will follow from 3-5 p.m. showcasing student performances, projects, exhibits, and accomplishments.
