Viewpoint: Maryland High School Assessments, a live call-in television program, will air on Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Cable Channel 34 on Monday, May 6, from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Community members are invited to call with their questions during the broadcast at 301-279-3234.

The program will provide an opportunity for parents and other interested community members to engage in a dialogue about the Maryland High School Assessments with administrators from the MCPS Department of Curriculum and Instruction and with testing experts in the MCPS Office of Shared Accountability.

Topics are expected to include:
§ What are the Maryland High School Assessments?
§ Who must take the tests?
§ How will scores be reported and when will test results count toward graduation?
§ What can families do to support student success?
