Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School Rededication on April 28

The historic 76-year-old Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School in downtown Bethesda will rededicate its newly modernized school building on Sunday, April 28, from 4:00 to 6:45 p.m.

* A dedication ceremony, including school staff, students, and public officials will be held in the school gym from 4:00 to 5:00.

* Beginning at 5 p.m., the school will open for tours. In the media center, visitors and alumni will be able to sign a virtual guest book to leave greetings for future graduates and update their address listings.

* “B-CC Through the Decades,” the culminating event, featuring B-CC alumni, staff and students, along with students from all the feeder elementary schools and Westland Middle School, will be held in the outdoor stadium at 5:45 p.m.

All dedication events are open to the public. Parking for people with disabilities is onsite. Public parking is available two blocks away at Waverly and Montgomery Avenues.
