Superintendent of Schools Jerry D. Weast and Board of Education Vice President Patricia B. O’Neill will join Montgomery County Executive Douglas M. Duncan in an update on security improvements in the county that have been made since the September 11 attacks. The event will take place on Wednesday, September 4, at 11:00 a.m. in the career center of Richard Montgomery High School.

Mr. Duncan will present NOAA weather radios -- which will enhance communication with schools during emergencies -- to Dr. Weast, Dr. Charlene Nunley, President, Montgomery College; and a representative of the County’s private schools. All schools in the county have received the radios.
