GHA-RA, Maintenance of Position Classifications

Purpose

To define the meaning of employee position classification for Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS); establish procedures and designate offices responsible for assigning and updating the duties, responsibilities, and salary grade associated with a position class; define and establish the processes associated with reclassifying and reconstituting positions; and establish the conditions under which positions may be created, reconstituted, or eliminated.
