Parents, students, and the community are invited to submit nominations for the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) sixth annual Best of the MCPS Web awards.

The awards recognize the school and office web sites created and maintained by MCPS webmasters. The ideal MCPS web site is useful, informative, easy to use, and focused on its customers. It is not necessarily the most visually sophisticated or technically advanced.

Nominations must be submitted by March 19, 2010. Anyone may nominate as many as two sites in each of the following categories:

· High school
· Middle school
· Elementary school
· Office
· Project
· Student Contribution

All 200 schools and most offices, departments, and units maintain web sites on www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org. The sites can be viewed on these pages:
