Back-to-School Snapshots to Be Featured on MCPS Website

The Montgomery County Public Schools Department of Public Information and Web Services invites parents to submit their favorite first-day-of-school snapshots to include in our back-to-school coverage.

Once parents have captured those great moments on the first day of classes, which is Monday, Aug. 29, they should select their best photograph and email it to our office at pio@mcpsmd.org. We will begin posting them on our website on Monday morning.

To contribute to our first-day-of school photo gallery, follow these simple steps:

1. Choose your best, horizontal snapshot.

2. Email your choice to pio@mcpsmd.org. Please send the photo as a jpeg file that is no larger than four megabytes.

3. Include your child’s first name, grade level and school name. (We will not publish last names.)

By submitting your child’s photo, you are agreeing to its use for publication on the MCPS website. If you have questions, contact the Public Information Office at (301) 279-3853 or pio@mcpsmd.org.
