Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) will be offering a tour of the district’s Division of Food and Nutrition Services Central Production Facility, located at 8402 Turkey Thicket Drive in Gaithersburg, on Thursday, September 24 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

MCPS is partnering with Maryland Hunger Solutions to host this tour to provide state and county officials with an opportunity to visit the new facility and learn about the nutritious and affordable meals that are offered to the district’s more than 156,000 students. More than 800 employees work in MCPS school cafeterias, the food services central production facility and warehouse, and the central office to provide safe and nutritious meals to MCPS students every day.
