The third annual character education conference, "Developing World Class Citizens 2002," will be held on Saturday, March 16, from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at James Hubert Blake High School. Staff from MCPS schools, parents, and community leaders will be among those participating.

Participants will be able to choose from thirty-one workshops on topics such as Media Literacy, Teaching Character Education through Children's Literature, Class Meetings, and Character Education through the Arts.
